ABOUT CONSERVATION
Terra is one of the most revolutionary, community-driven wildlife projects ever created. Terra will anonymously send migration data to researchers and allow them to track species and entire bird populations for the first time, creating a new scientific database and a powerful tool for conservation

Each Terra device anonymously shares the sounds, radio tracking and environmental data it picks up with a bird conservation database and then compiles and analyzes the data to identify species, number of birds and other information.

Our understanding of how birds migrate, their habitats and stopover points, and the impact of specific human and natural events on populations will be immeasurably increased, with a level of precision never before possible, allowing for more direct and effective conservation efforts.

MAINTENANCE MESSAGE:
Since Thursday 11th May we are doing periodic maintenance to the feeds, and we are still optimising the BIRD ID feature.
You can still download the app and enjoy birdsong and birds being identified, but if you prefer to wait for the full experience, you can leave your details at https://terralistens.click/app (yellow section) and we'll send you the app as soon as it's perfect!
The app will identify exotic birds in our free curated locations and your backyard birds^ by the bird calls as you listen in real time - it’s like ‘Shazam for birds’. ^Terra device required to ID backyard birds.
